An Innovative Surveillance System to detect/track and map a moving object which entered the area for surveillance.

Upper Part: Commercially available CCD camera with pan & tilt control function by outside signals through input interface.

UnderPart: Stationary IVS sensor which controls pan & tilt angle of CCD.

 

IVS sensor with wide field of Vision, wider than 90 degrees, detects and tracks moving intruder. The sensor output signals are conveyed imediately to CCD camera to control its pan & tilt angles of CCD in such a way to track a mover and obtain focused CCD image with high resolution. IVS continues to track the once detected intruder without miss and records the location on a map .

 

Plual number of intruders who enter the field of vision of IVS can be detected simultaneously as shown below.

 

By installing number of IVS linked to LAN, it becomes possible to make surveillance of wide area, such as a building with many rooms separated by walls. IVS tracks a mover , and when the mover exits from its field of vision, IVS sensor is automatically switched to a appropriate IVS which becomes the tracking sensor in charge.
