Customer-In is a vision sensor which uses IVS technology to count number of persons passing under the sensor, as shown above.
For retail shops, the relation between number of visitors and that of actually purchased customers is considered an important data to analyze customers behavior such as preference. But so far, It was difficult to install automatic counting system with adequate accuracy within allowable cost.

Just install the Customer-In above passing persons and by connecting to power source, then be able to start counting operation. Link to LAN is also required to download the measured data and to adjust parameters of Customer-In.

Relation between hight of installation and cover area

 

If installed at height of 2.3m, the cover area is 2.0m x 2.0m under the sensor.

The data of specified time frame can be downloaded to PC for analysis.

Link many Sensors to LAN

 

Since Customer-In is a stand-alone equipment, many sensors linked to LAN, as shown below can be managed by one PC.

Customer-In is installed at the ceiling of an entry door. The monitor display at the right below side is for explanation of the Customer-Inn function, although this is irrelevant to counting feature itself.
When a person walks in toward back, the count number of IN increases by one and when a person walks out toward front, the count number of OUT increases by one.
